Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website and guidance. This page explains our standards, known limitations, and how to request accessible alternatives.

Our commitment

Nex Solutions is committed to making our content usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and target conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA for core site pages.

If you find any barriers, please tell us. We will work with you to provide the content in a format that suits your needs.

What we are doing

  • Use clear language, consistent headings, and readable 18 px body text.
  • Provide sufficient colour contrast and avoid relying on colour alone to convey meaning.
  • Ensure forms have associated labels, helpful hints, and clear error messages.
  • Keep interactive elements keyboard accessible and visible on focus.
  • Provide descriptive alt text for informative images; mark decorative images as ignored.
  • Offer a cookie preferences page that is operable by keyboard and screen reader.

Compatibility & assistive tech

Our site is built with semantic HTML, CSS and lightweight JavaScript. It is designed to work on modern browsers and operating systems and with common assistive technologies (for example, screen readers such as NVDA/JAWS and VoiceOver, and magnification tools). If something does not work in your setup, please let us know so we can investigate.

Known limitations

We are actively improving the site. The following are known areas we monitor:

  • Third-party embeds or scripts (for example, analytics/ads that only run with consent) may not fully follow our styles.
  • Some PDF documents may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We can provide an HTML or large-print version on request.
  • Occasional heading hierarchy inconsistencies may appear during content updates; we correct these as we find them.

Requesting information in an accessible format

If you need any page or guide in a different format, contact us with the URL and format you require. We can provide:

  • Large-print or high-contrast versions of notes and checklists.
  • Plain-text/HTML alternatives to PDFs.
  • A call-back to talk through steps verbally.

We do not provide remote access. All assistance is educational and delivered in user-controlled formats.
